This is a guided meditation to take you through a Reiki self healing treatment.

Find a quiet safe space where you can be undisturbed for at least half an hour. You can either, sit in a chair with your spine upright but relaxed, or better still lie down. If you are lying down, place a cushion or bolster underneath your knees, so that they are not locked in position, this helps with the energy flow.

Now take a few deep breathes, all the way into your lower abdomen. As you breathe in through your nostrils, call back any energy that you may have scattered. Breathe out through your mouth, sending away any energies that are not your own.

Do this several times.

Now state your intent to give your self a Reiki healing treatment.

You can draw the chu-ku-rei symbol and any other symbols you use or are attuned to. Ask to be connected to the source of the Reiki energy, ask your Guides, Teachers, Angels, the Reiki Angels, your Higher Self and any other beings of Divine light you wish to assist you.

Ask that the Reiki energies flow to you for the Highest Good.

Feel the Reiki energy entering your Crown Chakra, and moving down into your Heart Chakra, down your arms and into the palm charkas, and flowing out of your palms.

If you have difficulty feeling the energy flow and sensations, ask the Reiki Angels to work with you now in opening your heart centre to receive more unconditional love and Reiki energy into your heart.

Each hand position is traditionally held for between three and five minutes or until its time to move only. Trust your intuition and feelings.

Move your hands and place them over your eyes as you feel the energy flowing into your eyes and brain.

Move your hand to cover your ears, and feel the energy flowing as you hold them there. You can if you wish draw the chu-ku-rei symbol again, each time you move your hand positions.

Move your hands to cover the back of your head, and feel the energy flow.

Move your hands to cover the area around your throat, and feel the energy flowing.

Move your hands to cover the heart area, and feel the energy flowing. You can ask for the Reiki Angels to assist you in opening your heart centre more again if you wish.

Move your hands down over the solar plexus area, and feel the energy flowing into this area.

Move your hands to cover the navel area, and feel the energy flowing into this area.

Move your hands down to cover the groin area, and feel the energy flowing into this area.

Move your hands to place one hand on each thigh, at the side. Intend that the Reiki energy flows powerfully down each leg. Into the feet and out of the tips of all your toes.

You will now need to change your position, do so very slowly and gently. Hold one hand on your left knee and place the other hand on your left ankle, feel the powerful energy flow.

Holding one hand on your left ankle move the other hand down to the sole of the left foot. Intend that the Reiki energy now grounds you in to the Earth.

Move one hand, and place it on your right knee and place the other hand on your right ankle, feel the powerful energy flow.

Holding one hand on your right ankle move the other hand down to the sole of the right foot. Intend that the Reiki energy now grounds you in to the Earth.

Now hold the soles of both feet, one sole in each hand, intend that the Reiki energy grounds you into the earth.

Slowly relax breath deeply, and when you feel ready, stretch gently and get up very slowly. Give your thanks and love to all the beings of light that have assisted you, and to the Source of the Reiki energy.
